According to him, community work days have turned into a mere formality: representatives of the MTU, akims, and local authorities gather, plant trees, take photos, and leave without considering the fate of the plants. "Teachers are forced to participate in this, even though the ombudsman has already called for an end to such practices. Why are the Ministry of Education and the trade union silent? If you want to involve people in cleaning, let the violators do it, not decent people who do it for free!" he emphasized.
Bekeshev also reminded that the parliament itself has participated in similar actions. "We planted trees in the Botanical Garden, but they all dried up. This formalism makes no sense. If it worked, Kyrgyzstan would have long ago become green," the deputy added.
