Employees of the Traffic Safety Department in Bishkek have begun large-scale checks of motorcycles, scooters, and mopeds. This was reported by the press service of the department.
The checks started with the arrival of the warm season and are aimed at increasing road safety, preventing traffic accidents, and improving compliance with rules among two-wheeled vehicle drivers.
During the raids, inspectors check for the presence of necessary documents and the compliance of vehicles with established technical requirements. In case of violations, such as engine displacement discrepancies or lack of documents, appropriate protocols are drawn up.
Additionally, conversations are held with drivers, during which the Traffic Safety Department employees remind them of the importance of adhering to traffic rules and using protective gear.
The department emphasizes that operating vehicles with violations can pose a danger both to the drivers themselves and to other road users.
