In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, large-scale checks of motorcycles, scooters, and mopeds have begun, as reported by the Patrol Police Department.
The aim of these activities is to enhance road safety, prevent traffic accidents, and improve discipline among two-wheeled vehicle drivers. The officers of the Patrol Police Department are conducting conversations with drivers, reminding them of the Traffic Rules.
"Special attention is paid to the technical condition of vehicles. In case of non-compliance with the engine capacity standards or the absence of necessary documents, drivers may be issued violation reports," the Patrol Police Department noted.
The agency urges citizens to strictly follow the traffic rules, use protective gear, and not operate vehicles with violations.
Nevertheless, on social media, Kyrgyz citizens continue to express dissatisfaction regarding violations related to motorcycle and scooter drivers riding on pedestrian sidewalks.
