The Cabinet of Ministers has established new rules for landowners, boundaries, and land control.
In Kyrgyzstan, local authorities will create special commissions to analyze the condition of gardening associations. The development of a new land use order was carried out by the State Agency for Land Resources, Cadastre, Geodesy, and Cartography.
The new Land Code, adopted last year, classified garden plots as part of populated areas. However, problems remain, including the lack of unified rules for landowners. The new order is also aimed at addressing issues related to abandoned lands, their boundaries, and condition control. For example, if a plot has no registered owner and is free from third-party rights, it will be considered abandoned.
The Cabinet hopes that the new order will help streamline urban planning documentation, increase the efficiency of land use, and create favorable conditions for infrastructure development and improvement.
