The modern system "Avtohuragan" has been implemented as part of the "Safe Country" project and is already installed on major highways:
- Bishkek — Kordai;
- Bishkek — Naryn — Torugart;
- Bishkek — Balakchi — Cholpon-Ata — Karakol.
This system automatically detects various violations, such as exceeding the speed limit, driving in the opposite lane, not wearing a seatbelt, ignoring traffic signs, and having unpaid fines.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized that the main goal of this system is not so much to impose fines as to prevent traffic accidents and protect the lives of citizens.
