On September 1, 2024, around 15:30, a terrible traffic accident occurred on the bypass road Bishkek – Naryn – Torugart, resulting in the deaths of seven people. M. A. has been found guilty of the accident and was sentenced for violating traffic rules. The details of the verdict were published on the "Digital Justice" portal.

M. A. was convicted of causing serious harm through negligence as a result of violating traffic safety rules and vehicle operation regulations.

According to the case materials, the driver of the "Subaru Outback" violated the rules by entering the oncoming lane, which led to a collision with a "Mercedes-Benz Sprinter." After the first impact, the "Subaru" again entered the oncoming lane, where it collided with another vehicle of the same make.

The first "Mercedes" after the collision entered the oncoming lane, where it collided with a "Toyota Camry," and then continued moving and collided with a "Toyota Voxy."

As a result of this incident, the following individuals lost their lives:

Passengers of the "Toyota Camry" A. G. A., born in 1985, and T. K. R., born in 2016, as well as a passenger of the "Mercedes-Benz Sprinter" T. A. N., born in 1994, sustained injuries of varying severity.

The lawyer for M. A. filed a cassation appeal, demanding the annulment of the verdicts and the acquittal of his client, claiming that the charges were not substantiated. He disputed the investigation's conclusions that M. A. had entered the oncoming lane, which he argued had not been proven.
