Names have been changed. According to the investigation, a man named Peter, suspecting his partner of infidelity, beat her. After that, he took her home and continued to beat her, conducting an interrogation. The next day, the victim, citing a desire to take a walk, went outside and did not return. Later, Peter found her again and beat her once more, which led to her death from a lack of oxygen due to a nasal hemorrhage.
- The Lenin District Court found Peter guilty under paragraph 1 of part 3 of article 130 "Causing serious harm to health, resulting in death by negligence" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. He received an eight-year prison sentence in a general regime correctional colony and mandatory treatment for alcoholism.
- The Judicial Panel for Criminal Cases of the Bishkek City Court upheld the sentence.
Peter also claimed in his testimony that he did not intend to harm the woman.
According to the forensic medical examination, the victim's death was violent and resulted from aspirational asphyxia due to blunt trauma to the head and face. The bodily injuries were classified as serious harm to health, threatening life.
The expert commission established that Peter has no mental illnesses and was capable of understanding his actions at the time of the crime, confirming his full sanity and the absence of a need for compulsory medical measures.
