Will the capital of Kyrgyzstan become a place without cultural heritage?
On social media, activist Bermet Borubaeva reported that the House of the Artist is no longer listed in the documents of the State Register of Property (GRS).
She expressed her bewilderment: "After this, will there be anything left for the mayor in Bishkek? Now the GRS states that this is just a land plot without any buildings. How can this be, if it is a cultural heritage site that has a special document?"
It is worth reminding that the plot where the House of the Artist is located was requested by the Presidential Administration from the city hall. The artists working at this site were shocked to learn about the ongoing changes through social media.
