Cutting down poplars in 'Alamedin-1': residents say the trees were strong, the mayor's office says almost all were rotten

Vice Mayor Ramiz Aliyev announced new parks

In the microdistrict "Alamedin-1," the cutting down of poplars has begun near the "Chynar" market. Local residents express dissatisfaction, claiming that the trees were strong and healthy.

In response, representatives of the mayor's office reported that 80% of the trees being cut down were in poor condition and rotten. In the near future, soil renewal is planned for this area, after which new large-sized trees will be planted here.

Additionally, Vice Mayor Ramiz Aliyev announced plans to create two large parks in this area: one will be located from Ankara Street to Chuy Avenue on the west side, and the other — from Aitmatov Avenue to the bridge.
