The Minister of Internal Affairs discussed security issues ahead of the holidays
On March 19, an online meeting took place, attended by the Minister of Internal Affairs Ulan Niyazbekov. This information was published by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
During the meeting, the results of the internal organs' work for the first quarter of 2026 were discussed, as well as issues related to ensuring public order during the upcoming significant holiday events.
From March 20 to 22, police officers will operate in an enhanced mode. In public places, near mosques, and at locations where events dedicated to the celebration of Orozo Ait and Nowruz will take place, the number of police units will increase.
In total, over 12,000 police officers will be involved in ensuring security.
"We must promptly identify and firmly suppress any attempts to destabilize the situation, spread false information, and engage in provocative actions," Niyazbekov noted.
