During the negotiations, the final round of discussions on the draft agreement regarding air communication was completed. The parties agreed on the main provisions of the document and approved its final version.
The signed agreement will create the necessary legal conditions for improving air communication between Kyrgyzstan and Austria. This will not only facilitate the establishment of regular flights but also increase the volume of passenger and cargo transportation, as well as deepen business, cultural, and tourism ties.
It is worth noting that on September 25, 2025, a memorandum of cooperation was signed in Montreal aimed at developing partnerships and exchanging experiences in the field of aviation regulation between the State Agency for Civil Aviation of Kyrgyzstan and the Austrian Federal Ministry of Innovation, Mobility, and Infrastructure.
