Kyrgyzstan won 12 medals at the World Muay Thai Championship


The Kyrgyzstan national team demonstrated outstanding results at the World Muay Thai Championship held in Bangkok. During the competition, the team won 12 medals.

In total, Kyrgyz athletes received 6 gold, 2 silver, and 4 bronze medals. The tournament took place from March 10 to 20 and included competitions among juniors and youth.

Among the world champions were:

Veronika Akhmatova (category up to 54 kg) Diana Zainitdinova (category up to 57 kg) Nurdoolot Borubekov (category up to 63 kg) Robert Pak (category up to 67 kg) Bogdan Proshin (category up to 75 kg) Eldar Yeshbaev (category up to 81 kg).

Silver medals were won by Erkaim Aibekova and Adis Mirbolotov.

Bronze awards went to: Mekin Asanaliev, Alikhan Zakirov, Rashid Magomedov, and Raul Rakhatebek.

This successful performance strengthened Kyrgyzstan's position among the leading teams at the tournament and demonstrated the high level of preparation of our athletes.
