In Kyrgyzstan, there is a significant shortage of youth personnel; however, employers do not show adequate interest in hiring them. This statement was made in an analytical report prepared by the Ministry of Labor in collaboration with the World Bank.

The study showed that 24.5% of companies do not use special methods to attract youth, despite the relevance of the personnel shortage issue.

The most commonly used tools remain internships and practical training, utilized by 27.7% to 40.7% of employers.

At the same time, experts note that informal connections still play a key role in the employment process, making it difficult for young specialists to access the labor market.

The report emphasizes that without active participation from businesses in the training and employment of youth, the issue of personnel shortages will continue to be relevant.
