According to their research, children start to become aware of their sense of self around the age of three, when they begin to separate from their mother and understand that they are distinct individuals. It is important to lay the foundations of mental health from the earliest age.


Although rudeness, humiliation, and physical punishment may seem insignificant, they cause serious harm to a child's psyche and distort their perception of the surrounding world and human relationships.

This can lead to behavioral problems and mental health issues, low self-esteem, and difficulties in establishing personal boundaries in the future. "Establishing contact with a child and supporting their harmonious development during adolescence is of immense importance. The ability to listen and support a child is a key element in raising a mentally healthy person and ensuring their successful future," emphasize the specialists from the BCUZ.
