The minister conducted a study of the epizootic situation in the region
Erlist Akunbekov, head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic, visited agricultural facilities in the village of Emgekchil, located in the Naryn region, to assess the current state of the epizootic situation. This information was announced by representatives of the ministry.
Together with veterinary specialists, the minister inspected local farms, assessed the health of the livestock, and held discussions with farmers. He emphasized the importance of isolating sick animals to prevent the spread of infections.
The regional veterinary services were given clear instructions to enhance outreach efforts with the population, respond quickly to emerging issues, and take necessary measures.
It is worth noting that cases of disease outbreaks among livestock have been recorded in Russia, caused by various factors, including foot-and-mouth disease. In this regard, additional veterinary safety measures have been implemented in Kazakhstan.
