More than 81 million soms will be allocated for forest restoration in Kyrgyzstan

The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan has announced the allocation of over 81 million soms for reforestation projects. These funds will be provided in the form of grants.

In the capital city, Bishkek, grant agreements have already been signed. As part of this project, it is planned to restore forest areas and plant new saplings over an area of 2,500 hectares.

The goal of this initiative is to preserve forest resources, improve the ecological situation, and support local communities.

The project is being implemented under the national program "Zhashyl Muras."
