According to the state institution "Kyzmat," in January 2026, 10.9 thousand newborns were registered in the civil registry offices, which corresponds to 17.3 per 1,000 population, and there were 2.7 thousand cases of death, or 4.3 per 1,000.
Thus, the natural population increase amounted to 8.2 thousand people, which is equivalent to 13 per 1,000 population.
The highest rates of natural increase in January were recorded in Batken, Jalal-Abad, and Osh regions, while in Bishkek this indicator was the lowest.
