The discussion focused on current events in the Middle East
At a round table organized at the GKNB Academy, specialists discussed the operational and strategic situation related to terrorism and extremism in Kyrgyzstan. This information was provided by the press service of the special services.
The event was attended by representatives of the Anti-Terrorism Center, the Main Directorate for Combating International Terrorism and Religious Extremism, as well as intelligence and counterintelligence officers, the Legal Support Service, and specialists from regional divisions of the GKNB.
The issues discussed at the round table concerned the mechanisms for the rehabilitation and adaptation of citizens returning from conflict zones (Syria, Iraq), as well as their integration into Kyrgyz society.
Particular attention was paid to current events in the Middle East and their consequences for the religious and socio-political situation in the country.
