On March 26 of this year, the court reviewed the criminal case of 41-year-old Zheenataev, who had previously received a six-year sentence from the Pervomaisky District Court.
According to the lawyer, the judicial panel decided to overturn the previous court ruling under Article 332, Part 1, declaring him innocent. However, the sentence under Article 278, related to "Calls for Mass Riots," remained in effect, and instead of imprisonment, probation was imposed for a period of four years.
It is worth noting that Ernist Zheenataev, who worked as a designer for various publications, was detained in November 2025. A criminal case was initiated against him under Article 278, Part 3, and Article 332, Part 1, concerning "Calls for Mass Riots" and "Manufacturing, Distributing, Transporting, or Sending Extremist Materials," respectively.
