It is expected that the new enterprise will be able to process up to 800 tons of garbage per month, generating up to 30 megawatts of electricity in the process.
The press secretary, Zhyldyzbek Bolotbekov, speaking on **24.kg**, noted that the city will be able to supply the plant with 600 tons of waste each month, while the remaining 200 tons are planned to be collected from neighboring villages.
Tree planting is planned on the territory of the former landfill. The city hall assures that residents need not worry about the operation of the plant, as the waste incineration technology used eliminates harmful emissions into the atmosphere, meaning there will be no unpleasant odors or black smoke.
