On March 25, the Call Center Kaktus.media received a video from the microdistrict "Alamedin-1," where the live hedge on Auezov Street was recently removed and trees were planted.

The author of the recording is dissatisfied with these changes. According to him, the hedge previously prevented pedestrians from crossing from the road to the sidewalk through the lawn. Now that it has been removed, people have no barriers and can move freely.

“People will choose the shortest path; it's more convenient than going around. There are many pedestrians here, with a market, shops, and a bus stop nearby. The grass won't be able to grow; it will be trampled immediately. Young trees may also suffer from the constant flow of people,” the reader expressed his concern.

After the publication of this video, the press service of the Bishkek City Hall reported that, according to information from the Municipal Enterprise "Bishkekzelenstroy," protective tape has currently been installed in this area to limit pedestrian access to the lawn and protect the young saplings.

“In the near future, the planting of annual flowers is planned, which will help strengthen the green zone and improve its appearance,” the city authorities claim. “The greening is not yet complete. After the final improvement, the area will become more comfortable and attractive, and the measures taken will help preserve the lawn and ensure the normal growth of the planted trees.”
