In his weight category up to 61 kilograms, he will face experienced Russian wrestler Chermen Tavitov, who has a victory at the Yarygin Cup and a final appearance at a major tournament in Albania under his belt.
Omurbek has already made a name for himself on the domestic stage, winning a silver medal at the Kyrgyzstan Championship at the end of 2025, where he narrowly lost to Bekzat Almaz uulu in a tense match.
