Azmat Toktonaliev urged parents, schoolchildren, and students not to put themselves at risk
At a meeting with residents of the Oktobersky district, the head of the Bishkek Department of Internal Affairs, Azmat Toktonaliev, noted that selling and transferring bank cards can lead to unpleasant consequences for schoolchildren and students.
He reported that recently there have been numerous cases where young people are selling their cards for amounts ranging from 5,000 to 10,000 soms.
"Dear parents, before opening bank accounts for your children, keep in mind: transferring or selling cards to third parties is a criminal offense. Since the beginning of the year, 30 minors have already been held accountable," Toktonaliev added.
It should be noted that such actions are usually carried out by droppers and other offenders involved in fraudulent schemes.
