In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, about 600 land plots are leased under temporary use conditions for the design and construction of apartment buildings. This was reported by Vice Mayor Azamat Kadyrov at a meeting of the permanent commission of the city council, which deals with issues of municipal property, land relations, urban planning, and architecture.

According to Kadyrov, approximately 40% of the leased plots have already been developed, while the remaining part is in the process of development, and there are also plots that have not yet been utilized.

As clarified by deputy Kazybek Ergeshov, the developed plots are those on which construction has been completed. Rent payments are also being collected for plots where houses were built and put into operation in 2007-2008.
