- The preparation for this fight went great. I trained for a month in the USA, then 40 days in Dagestan, and the final stage was spent in Kyrgyzstan for three weeks. I feel wonderful. In Dagestan, the focus was on wrestling.

- After this fight, my team and I will discuss what weight we will compete in next year — 70 kg or 77 kg.
- How is the weight-cutting process going in this division?
- This time, I find it easier to manage the weight cut at 77 kg; I feel great. Everything is going according to plan.
- Are you planning to challenge Jack Madalena after the fight?
- I am a UFC fighter and ready to fight any opponent that is offered to me. I have never turned down fights. It will be the same in the future.
