Athlete from Kyrgyzstan, Timur Shakirov, competed in the Winter Olympic Games taking place in Italy.

On February 16, a competition in the "slalom" discipline is being held, featuring 96 alpine skiers.

Starting with number 84, Shakirov took to the course, but was unable to complete his run and exited the race.

At this point, more than half of the participants have failed to reach the finish line in their first attempt. Among them was the current Olympic champion from Brazil, Lucas Pinheiro Broten, who secured first place in the giant slalom on February 14.

Thus, Timur Shakirov ends his pursuit of medals in the slalom.
