Kyrgyzstan will be represented by two athletes at these competitions.
One of them is Timur Shakirov, who will participate in alpine skiing.
The 20-year-old athlete began his training in Austria, where he attended training camps from October 26 to December 12, 2025. The Federation of Alpine Skiing of Kyrgyzstan organized his trip.
From December 12 to 26, 2025, Timur participated in international competitions, which he was also sent to by the federation.
Then, from January 12 to 26, he trained in South Korea as part of his preparation for the Olympic Games.
After that, Shakirov returned to Kyrgyzstan and from January 27 to 31 participated in international competitions at the Kashkulak base, where the Kyrgyzstan Championship was held.
At the Olympics, he will compete in two disciplines: slalom and giant slalom.
