Significant Skiing Competitions Will Take Place at the "Kashkulak" Base

From January 28 to 31, a series of important competitions in alpine skiing will take place at the "Kashkulak" ski base, including two stages of the Central Asia Cup, as well as national and junior championships organized under the auspices of FIS. This was reported by the federation of alpine skiing.

According to federation representatives, these competitions are being held for the seventh time and have established themselves as one of the most significant sporting events of the winter season in the republic.

Outstanding athletes from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan will participate in the competitions, competing for medals in two categories: giant slalom and slalom. High competition, spectacular runs, and active battles on the slopes are expected. These competitions will provide an excellent opportunity to enhance the sports ranking, gain international experience, and meet qualification standards,” the federation's message notes.
