The Kyrgyzstan team, formed only this year, took second place in the team standings, finishing behind only the team from Russia.
According to the organizers, the team, consisting of young athletes, had to compete against experienced masters of sports who have numerous titles on the international stage.
Despite the high competition, the participants demonstrated outstanding results and were able to gain important international experience, showcasing the potential of Kyrgyz skiers.
Additionally, an important achievement was the creation of a safe and modern climbing route on Mount Kerme-Tuu in Osh.
The Federation noted that thanks to the new equipment installed on this route, it can become a permanent training location for climbers, rock climbers, and rescuers, as well as a center for tourists. The organizers are confident that hosting international competitions in mountain techniques in Kyrgyzstan will become a sustainable tradition.
We have all the conditions for this - magnificent natural landscapes, strong athletes, and a desire to develop.
