Kazybek Moldazhiyev, the director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, attended the event. He emphasized that mountaineering is not only about climbing snowy peaks and battling weather conditions, but also involves months of preparation, fatigue, doubts, and faith in the team.

Moldazhiyev noted that the efforts of the climbers deserve the deepest respect.

Several members of the federation, including Eduard Kubatov, were awarded the commemorative medal "100 years of Kyrgyz sports." Also among the awardees were the winners and participants of the "Taza Ala-Too" project, which aims to clean high peaks in Kyrgyzstan from litter.

Rescue workers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations also received awards for their professionalism and courage during rescue operations in extreme mountain conditions.

The honorary titles "Ak Ilbirs" and 7 Summits were awarded to climbers Asel Baibagyshova and Kadyr Saidilkan uulu.

It is worth noting that Asel Baibagyshova became the first Kyrgyz woman to conquer Everest, while Kadyr Saidilkan uulu reached this height in 2023.
