Winter Olympic Games 2026: Kyrgyzstan will be represented by two athletes

At the Winter Olympic Games, which will take place in Italy, Kyrgyzstan will be represented by two athletes.

The team includes Timur Shakirov, who represents alpine skiing and is coached by Igor Borisov, as well as Artur Saparbeckov, who competes in cross-country skiing under the guidance of coach Alexander Levdansky.

Artur Saparbeckov will participate in the sprint in classic style and the 10-kilometer race in freestyle, which will be held in Val di Fiemme.

Timur Shakirov will compete in the giant slalom and slalom disciplines, which will take place at the Bormio ski resort.

The 2026 Winter Olympic Games are scheduled from February 6 to 22, and the Winter Paralympic Games from March 6 to 15.
