Timur Shakirov took 62nd place at the Winter Olympics

Kyrgyz athlete Timur Shakirov completed the competition at the Winter Olympic Games in Italy, finishing in 62nd place.

On February 14, 81 skiers competed in the giant slalom.

In his first attempt, Shakirov recorded a time of 1 minute 29.52 seconds, which placed him in 67th position, 15.6 seconds behind the leader.

In his second attempt, the Kyrgyz improved his time, finishing in 1 minute 22.5 seconds, and moved up to 63rd place, reducing his deficit from the leader to 11.42 seconds.

As a result of the two attempts, Shakirov finished 62nd among the 69 athletes who managed to complete the course.
