Nursultan Keneshbekov took 6th place at the Asian Cross Country Championship

Athlete from Kyrgyzstan, Nursultan Keneshbekov, took 6th place at the Asian Cross Country Championship held in Japan.

This 18th tournament took place on February 21 in the city of Fukuoka.

In the men's 10 km race, 25 athletes from countries such as Bangladesh, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, and Japan participated.

Kyrgyzstan was represented by three athletes, among whom Nursultan Keneshbekov achieved the best result with a time of 30 minutes and 16 seconds, finishing 56 seconds behind the Japanese winner.

Jusup Sulayman uulu came in 7th (+1 minute and 46 seconds), while Tilekzhan Zhenshenaly uulu finished in 10th place (+2 minutes and 40 seconds).

The team standings for the Kyrgyzstan national team concluded in second place, earning them silver medals.

Anara Abdykaparova represented Kyrgyzstan in the women's 10 km competition, finishing in 17th place with a time of 43 minutes and 56 seconds.
