The Virus Weightlifting Series competition took place from March 5 to 8 in Columbus, Ohio, as part of the Arnold Sports Festival, which was founded by Arnold Schwarzenegger in 1989.
Rasulbekov competed in the weight category up to 110 kg, where 108 athletes participated.
In his first attempt in the snatch, the Kyrgyzstani lifted 160 kg, and in the second attempt, he lifted 165 kg. However, his final attempt with a weight of 170 kg was unsuccessful.
Nevertheless, his result of 165 kg in the snatch was the best, earning him a small gold medal.
In the clean and jerk, Bekdolot, representing the Marin Heavy Athletics team, successfully completed all three attempts with weights of 190, 200, and 210 kg, which allowed him to earn another small gold medal.
The total result of 375 kg secured Rasulbekov first place and the main gold medal.
At the end of the weightlifting competition, Bekdolot was recognized as the best athlete and received the MVP award.
