Mohamed Salah will leave "Liverpool" at the end of the season

Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah announced his departure from "Liverpool" at the end of the current season in a video message on platform X. He noted: "I never thought that this club, the city, and its people would become such an important part of my life. We celebrated victories together, won significant trophies, and overcame difficult times."

Salah also expressed his gratitude to his teammates and the team's fans.

In April 2025, he extended his contract with "Liverpool" until the end of the 2026/27 season. However, the club's press service confirmed that Salah is currently focused on helping the team finish the season on a high note.

At the moment, Mohamed Salah is 33 years old. He has been part of "Liverpool" since 2017 and during this time has become a two-time champion of England, as well as winning the Champions League and the Club World Cup. Salah has made 420 appearances for the club, scoring 250 goals and providing 116 assists.
