Mohamed Salah, the star forward of Liverpool, expressed his concerns after finding himself on the bench for the third consecutive time, including the recent draw with Leeds (3:3). The Egyptian voiced doubts about his future with the team and hinted at the possibility of leaving during the January transfer window.

Salah noted: "This is already the third game in my entire career that I have sat on the bench. I am very disappointed. I have done a lot for the club, especially last season, and I don’t understand why I am on the bench now."

The forward, who has been the Premier League's top scorer four times and has won the PFA and FWA awards, added that his relationship with coach Arne Slot has changed: "We used to have a good relationship, but now everything is different. It feels like someone doesn’t want to see me in the team."

So far this season, Salah has scored only four goals and has faced criticism for his defensive work. Nevertheless, he emphasized that he is not the reason for the team's poor start. The forward also mentioned that after the home match against Brighton, he will join the Egyptian national team for the Africa Cup of Nations, and his future steps at Liverpool remain uncertain.
