Sadyr Japarov arrived in the capital of Turkmenistan the day before.
According to the press service of the president, upon arrival in Ashgabat, the head of Kyrgyzstan was met by the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov and several other officials.

Subsequently, Sadyr Japarov held a one-on-one meeting with Serdar Berdymukhammedov, where the most important issues of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan were discussed, including aspects of bilateral relations and interaction at international forums.
The next day of the visit, the president laid flowers at the Monument of Neutrality in Ashgabat and then participated in an international forum titled "Peace and Trust: Unity of Goals for a Sustainable Future."
This event was dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, as well as to the Day of Neutrality and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality. Sadyr Japarov delivered a speech at the forum, emphasizing the importance of joint efforts to ensure peace, prevent conflicts, and promote sustainable development in the region. He noted that Kyrgyzstan has always advocated for strengthening international stability.
On December 12, Sadyr Japarov returned to Bishkek.
