Yalymov Nariman Galimovich
Doctor of Technical Sciences, laureate of the State Prize of the Kyrgyz SSR in the field of science and technology.
Born in 1926. In 1954, he graduated from the Kazakh Mining and Metallurgical Institute.
Worked as a section chief, chief engineer in Zhezkazgan, junior research fellow, scientific secretary, head of the laboratory at the Institute of Physics and Mechanics of Rocks of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR.
Specialist in underground mining of ore deposits and rock pressure management.
Awarded medals from the USSR and a Certificate of Honor from the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR.
Under his supervision, 5 candidate dissertations have been defended.
Published more than 90 scientific works, including over 9 monographs, and is the author of 5 inventions.

1. Method for mining ore deposits in weak host rocks. Patent No. 950917, 1981.
2. Method for managing rock pressure. Patent No. 998759, 1981.
3. Method for developing gently dipping ore deposits. Patent No. 1532704, 1989.
4. Method for preparing block bottoms. Patent No. 15%111, 1990.
5. Device for registering ground lightning discharges. Patent No. 1661705, 1991.
