To the good in counsel, protector of friends, brave against enemies, with a lion's hand and a tiger's heart, the esteemed manap Jantay Batyr Karabekov, I send many bows, wishing you health, happiness, and prosperity.
Most esteemed manap! I have heard rumors about the war of Urman with the godly kin. With the death of Urman (may God be his judge), you have become, at least as I see you, the head of the Sarybagysh kin, and therefore I address you with kind words; I know that you are not our subject and are not obliged to listen to me, but in any case, it is not bad to accept good advice and think well about it. Much blood has already been shed, and many have suffered for the god. With your power and influence over your people, put an end to this senseless bloodshed. You have written to me several times about what kind of person Urman was and who was to blame for the beginning of this war. Supporting an unjust word—what is that, and God does not bless such deeds. Remember that the subjects of the Great King are godly, and their enemies will be his enemies. As to a person deserving my respect for his righteousness and heart, I address you with good advice, which, if fulfilled, God will bless you and reward you. Think about my words.
