Given in the city of Tashkent on the 19th day of December 1877.

In consideration of his special merits, certified by the Military Governor of the Semirechye region, I, by the authority granted to me, award Jantaev the grand gold medal to be worn around the neck on the Annen ribbon and hope that he will always be distinguished by diligence.
