- From December 8 to 14, 2025, at the multilateral automobile checkpoint "Petukhovo" (Kurgan Region), inspectors from the Ural Interregional Directorate of Rosselkhoznadzor, working together with border guards and customs representatives, checked 38 trucks transporting over 548 tons of vegetables, fruits, and flowers from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and China.

Of the total number of vehicles, 36 were loaded in Kazakhstan, and 2 in Kyrgyzstan. The products were being transported in transit through the Zauralye region to cities such as Perm, Surgut, Omsk, Yekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk, and Novosibirsk.

In the Kurgan Region, the following were imported:

- 20 tons of cabbage,

- 20 tons of apples,

- 6 tons of onions,

- 14 tons of pumpkin.

During the inspection, one violation of the EAEU quarantine standards was identified: a truck carrying 18 tons of cucumbers, whose origin was indicated as Kazakhstan, was directed not through the declared checkpoint.

The driver was held administratively liable, and the batch of goods returned to Kazakhstan under the control of Rosselkhoznadzor.

The remaining 37 vehicles passed inspection without issues.
