Compared to the same 11 months of 2024, the volume of industrial production increased by 10% (in January–November 2024, the growth was at 4.6%).
If we exclude enterprises engaged in the development of gold deposits, the growth of industrial production reached an impressive 119.6%.
The main factors contributing to the growth of the industry compared to January–November 2024 include:
- pharmaceutical products — an increase of 1.9 times;
- rubber and plastic products, as well as construction materials — a growth of 34.5%;
- wood and paper products, as well as printing activities — +33.7%;
- food products, including beverages and tobacco products — +27.8%;
- chemical production — +21.5%;
- textiles and clothing — +9.6%;
- mining of minerals — +15.3%.
The electricity, gas, and steam sector demonstrated a growth of 13.5%, which is partly explained by an 8.1% increase in electricity production.
Additionally, the volume of water supply, wastewater treatment, and recycling of secondary raw materials increased by 24.4%, which is associated with a 23.3% growth in water collection, treatment, and distribution.
The contribution of the industrial sector to the formation of the gross domestic product (GDP) was 1.70 percentage points, and the share of industry in the GDP structure reached 17.8%.
