His activities actively contribute to the development of science and education in Kyrgyzstan.
Altai Borubaev is an academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic. He has been awarded the Intergovernmental Prize of the CIS "Stars of the Commonwealth," received the State Prize of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of science and technology twice, and is also a distinguished figure in science, a first-class state advisor, and a knight of the Order of "Manas" III degree, as well as the Order of "Commonwealth" of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS. He currently holds the position of Director of the Institute of Mathematics at the National Academy of Sciences.
Borubaev is the author of 16 scientific monographs and books, as well as more than 130 scientific articles published in 15 countries. He has actively presented scientific reports at universities in 39 countries around the world, and under his leadership, more than 20 international scientific congresses and conferences have been held in the country.
He also serves as the President of the Union of Scientists of Kyrgyzstan, is a member of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, and heads the Kyrgyz Mathematical Society. Additionally, he is a member of the editorial boards of several international scientific journals in mathematics.
