On February 10, Minister of Construction Nurdana Oruntaev, together with Osh Mayor Jenishbek Toktorbaev and representatives of relevant departments, reviewed the projects for social facilities and sites for future schools in Osh.
Among the planned facilities:
- An additional educational building for 375 students at secondary school No. 33 named after S. Alymkulov, located at: Ozgur village, Konur-Jaz street, No. 3.
- An educational building for 750 students on the territory of the school named after J. Bokonbaev, located at: MTU Kurmanjan Datka, N. Isanova street No. 27a/1.
- A school for 1000 students based on school No. 2 named after Salizhan Zhigitov (Karl Marx), address: MTU Kurmanjan Datka, Tashkent street 50.
- An educational institution for 750 students at secondary school No. 3 named after M. Lomonosov, address: MTU Suylayman-Tuu, Kurmanjan Datka street 97.
- A new school for 700 students on land plot No. 26 on 10th street in the Ak-Buura-2 residential area (40 ha), Tölöykön rural district.
- An educational building for 700 students in the village of Ishkavan, Kyzyl-Kyshtak rural district.
- A school for 500 students on a designated construction site, located at: Sary-Zoo plot, 2nd street No. 20k, Kyzyl-Kyshtak rural district.
- An additional building on the territory of secondary school No. 38 named after B. Alykulov, located on U. Salieva street, MTU Manas-Ata.
- A new school for 1200 students in the new residential area of Ene-Sai, Kyzyl-Kyshtak rural district.
- An educational institution for 500 students on a land plot located at: Surottu-Tash village, K. Khabibullina street 2, Kyzyl-Kyshtak rural district.
Minister Oruntaev examined the construction sites and project documentation, after which he gave instructions to the department heads.
The Ministry of Construction noted that due to the high number of students exceeding the designed capacity of existing schools in Osh, the project and estimate documentation was approved, and construction of 10 new educational institutions has begun.
