The agenda included the issue of naming geographical objects in Osh. The deputies approved the proposed draft resolution.
According to the draft, the street named after Sanjar Kasymbekov, located in the municipal administration of Manas-Ata, has been given a new name — Tölögön [Tologon] Kasymbekov, and it has been granted the status of an avenue. The street named after Alisher Navoi is also now an avenue. Furthermore, secondary school No. 47 in the city of Osh has been named after Alymbek-datka.
The list of streets and facilities that received new names:
- The street named after Sanjar Kasymbekov has been renamed to the street named after Tölögön [Tologon] Kasymbekov with the status of an avenue.
- The street named after Alisher Navoi has been granted the status of an avenue.
- The street named after Maxim Gorky now bears the name of Adam Zakirov.
- Street No. 18 in the Ak-Tilek microdistrict has been named after Jusupzhan Turgunbaev.
- The street named after Hakimjan Azhy, located in the municipal administration of Manas-Ata, has been renamed in honor of Suranchy Zhetimishov.
- The street running from Korgon Street to the Kayirma Canal has been named after the veteran of the Great Patriotic War Pakyrdin Mamatov.
- The street in quarter No. 336 of the village of Gulabad-Tölöykön has been named after Kenesh Kazakbaev.
- The street in quarter No. 342 of the village of Gulabad-Tölöykön has been named after Abdumutalib Sadirov.
- Street No. 73 in the Dostuk microdistrict, under the administration of Alymbek-datka, has been named after Tentimish Akmataliev.
The city council also approved the naming of secondary school No. 47 after Alymbek-datka.
This resolution will come into effect after its registration with the Ministry of Justice.
