The dental clinic in the city of Manas, located in the Jalal-Abad region, has returned to municipal ownership after being recognized as illegally privatized.

At the XX session of the X convocation of the Manas City Council, the issue of transferring the building to municipal ownership was raised, which received unanimous support from council members.

The building, which houses the open joint-stock company "Jalal-Abad Dentistry" on Chekhov Street, now belongs to the state. It was originally built as a dental clinic but was later privatized.

Vice Mayor Kubanych Imanaliev, speaking at the session, reported that the Jalal-Abad regional prosecutor's office issued an order for the return of the property. The meeting also discussed the transfer of the building to the Jalal-Abad regional dental clinic.

According to information obtained after the prosecutor's inspection, in the 2000s, the clinic building, with an area of 992 square meters and a land plot of 2,595 square meters, was illegally transferred to private ownership.

As a result of the prosecutor's actions, the building and land plot, with a market value of 113 million 872 thousand soms, were returned to municipal ownership.

Nurbek Isakov, the head of the Jalal-Abad regional dental clinic, noted that the returned building was indeed intended for dental services. As a result of its privatization, employees were forced to work at clinic No. 2 on the first floor.

“We learned about the return of the property to state ownership, but the documents for it have not yet been transferred to us. As soon as they arrive, we plan to inspect the building and resume work in our own institution,” he added.
