According to information provided by the press service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan, a batch of dried apricots weighing 23 tons was sent to China for the first time in 2025.

It is noted that this event marks a significant step in expanding Kyrgyzstan's export capabilities. Agricultural products and processed goods from the country are confidently entering international markets, and the geography of export supplies continues to grow.

The ministry reported that there are currently eight protocols agreed upon with China regarding the export of wool, cashmere, beans, poultry, and its by-products. Three protocols concerning thermally processed meat and leather raw materials have also been signed. The process of exporting dried fruits has begun, and the first shipment of apricots has already been made. Preparations are underway for the export of other goods such as wine, vegetable oil, and vegetables.

Work on obtaining permission to export honey to the European Union is ongoing. Meanwhile, 298 kilograms of honey from Kyrgyzstan have already been exported to the United Kingdom.

Additionally, 144 horses have been sent to Saudi Arabia. The export of dried fruits, honey, and other processed products is also actively developing through the Wildberries marketplace, which opens up new opportunities for digital exports.
