A digital system for distributing meat import quotas has been launched in Kyrgyzstan.

The Automated Information System (AIS), developed by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, is now actively used for processing applications for tariff quotas. With the help of this platform, meat import management has become digital, eliminating bureaucratic red tape, as reported by the ministry's press center.

The introduction of the AIS has significantly reduced the influence of the human factor and increased the transparency of decision-making. Digitalization has allowed for a reduction in document processing time and guaranteed equal access for entrepreneurs to the market, the ministry noted.
