According to information provided by the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan, the country has begun receiving electricity from Uzbekistan. This event has positively impacted the energy supply situation, as reported by "Asia-Plus."

Currently, the volume of supplies amounts to up to 2 million kilowatt-hours per day. Representatives of the Ministry of Energy noted that in the future, an increase in these volumes is possible if Uzbekistan can provide additional opportunities for electricity export.

In addition, the ministry reported that preliminary agreements have been reached between the energy departments regarding potential electricity supplies from Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan. Currently, the parties are working on the technical aspects related to organizing transit.
