The Minister of Energy of Kyrgyzstan, Talaybek Ibraev, stated on his social media that the country will not face an electricity deficit; however, he urged citizens to use resources more rationally.
The difference in cost will again be reflected as debt on the accounts of NESK.
In this regard, the President has instructed to minimize import volumes, use electricity rationally, and pay off the remaining debts amounting to 25 billion soms next year.
Our goal for 2024 is to completely settle our debts and start making a profit.
According to plans, by the winter season of 2028–2029, the country should eliminate its dependence on electricity imports.
